    Day 1 (50DC)

    DAY 1: Introduce yourself / List your likes and dislikes

    Hey, I’m Meg.  Or…on the net, I mostly go by PJ.  I’m a hockey fan, a daughter, a writer, knitter, artist, thinker…and I guess you could say a survivor.  I have depression, though my Doctor has said it’s more of a Disthemia, whatever it is I see a counselor regularly at school and tend to cry in his office a lot. I rarely show my depression to anyone but a few people, because I’d rather not have people think of me as ‘that sad girl’.  So, I have no problem locking myself in my dorm room for days on end and waiting out an episode while being happy online.  I’m the host of The Net, the only hockey only broadcast on my college’s radio show and have been dubbed the ‘in house hockey expert’  Is it true?  Newp…but I like the title.  I’m a pre-med major as of yet, but I’m gonna spend the fall semester doing a lot of soul searching to find out if sports journalism is my real thing.  I get up every sunday morning and trek through buffalo weather to talk on The Net, so I must love it a lot.  I’m cooky, and a little obsessive, and very playful.  I take a lot of things seriously, but at the same time, I love to laugh.  Fuck cancer, I just had the first of many biopsies because I’m at high risk, and you know what, I’ll be the first to walk for cancer, run, collect or donate. I’m a collector of Comic Books and Hockey cards, with over 600 dollars from the last year going to both the passions (about 100 to comic books and 500 to cards «.) I write, a lot.  From the novel that’s taken me 2 years, to the smutty fanfiction that I do well, I won’t write slash unless you ask nicely, but don’t think that my writing is trash just because I haven’t made up characters, I have a whole concept about Max Talbot being a wolf from the northern territories of Canada, who needs to get his arm broken in order for a vampire regime to not find out his secret and get him killed.  Think it’s shit, just try reading it….blow your mindddd

    I’d like to think I’m a really cool cat…and I’d love to get to know people better
